Virtual Bookkeeper

We are a financial settlement company based in Orange County, California. We specialize in managing the process of negotiating business disputes & debts with the goal of helping our clients through the settlement process and gaining financial stability. An integral component of that stability is our fast growing Virtual CFO department.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a self-starter and quick learner to join our virtual CFO team. The position is "in office" but we provide a virtual bookkeeping/ accounting /CFO service for our clients.

Skills: Candidate must be well versed in Microsoft Office, internet/intranet, DocuSign; and basic web application(s). QuickBooks experience is preferred but will train someone with the right aptitude. Calendar controls and follow-ups are extremely important. Ideal person will be a critical thinker with the ability to identify bottlenecks and solve problems.
Good communication skills verbally and in writing is key.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Transactional bookkeeping.
- Keep financial transactions coded in real time and bank accounts reconciled.
- Continuous email support to customers and their designated staff.
- Perform scheduled and/or ad hoc Zoom calls with customers.
- Perform Accounts Payable and Receivable Support.
- Manage projects on Asana both internally and/or with customers and their team.
- Help create annual budgets and track actuals against budget.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and PRG’s network of tax professionals.
- Provide general support to other team members as needed.

Must be self- motivated, self-disciplined and want to grow with our company.

We do not have a Kegerator or Ping Pong table but we do have a casual work environment; and will throw in some snacks and coffee if it makes you work better!

Normal office hours are 9am-5pm. But a flex work schedule is possible after probation.
Would consider someone who wants to start at part-time then work into full-time position.
